The triple moon goddess is an important tool of faith among Neopagans and Wiccans. The symbol represents the three stages in the life of a human female – youth, adulthood, and old age.
These stages are depicted in the form of the two crescents of the Moon flanking the full Moon. The left crescent depicts the waxing Moon, while the right one shows the waning Moon.
